1. It was a very interesting meet and experience for the whole half day. Visiting the \u201cVAST \u09ae\u09df\u09b2\u09be\u09b0 \u09a1\u09be\u09ac\u09cd\u09ac\u09be\u2019\u09b8\u201d in Amin Bazar was a life time experience. For a while from the Savar Highways it looked like Kala Pahar \u2013 Alutila of Khagrachari \u2013 so much of piled garbages, looking like Hills \/ Mounds in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

2. It was all full of \u2018Unbearable & Unpalatable\u2019 smell but I inhaled with pleasure while wading through the piles of Garbage and Wastage of the Dhaka City accumulated over the years. My \u2018Aim\u2019 was to get the Guard Services contract in the Plant and show to the Chinese people that we are an Incredible, Invincible and also an Incorrigible nation : bad smell simply we love it. Elite Force is the Best for the job of Guarding the Plant !<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

3. Our \u2018Presentation\u2019 was excellent. There was \u2018Spell Bound\u2019 situation. The whole Chinese Team were amazed to see the video clip of the \u201cDog Show\u201d prepared for them. They said they could not imagine anything like this in Bangladesh. In the clip, we had glimpses of the \u2019Sena Prodhan\u2019 taking salute from the Dog Squad, last year in a Sena Job Mela at Sena Malancha. This created great added value to our security proposal to the Chinese company.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

4. But then, the most \u2018Pitiable and Pathetic\u2019 was when we tried to say and prevail upon the Chinese Company that they must pay a good salary to the poor guards of Bangladesh. But how much could we ask when the Government has fixed only Taka 9,000\/- ++ as the Minimum Take Home Salary of a Guard and nothing allocated for our Overhead; Managements; Training; Admin; Taxes etc etc.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

5. We were told that, they have other good known security vendors & competitors to take up the \u2018Great Job\u2019 at much lower than our Quotations. Mind you the project will cost Tk. 15,325\/- Crores. Surely there will be extensions. Local \u201cMAROFICATIONS\u201d will only be known, when it will be in the media that a Pillow \/ Screw Cost Tk. 83,000\/- Takas per piece. Hail the Bangladesh !<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

@ The China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) will establish a 42.5 MW power plant producing electricity from garbage, (Non-Hazardous Waste) implementing the first waste-to-power project at Aminbazar in Savar investing Tk.15,325 crore.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
@ Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has allocated 30 acres of land at Aminbazar for the project and also supply 3,000 tonnes of waste on daily basis for the plant.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
@ Each tonne of garbage can produce 550 KW of electricity. The Government expects to produce 1000 MW of electricity, or 35,000 metric tonnes of organic fertiliser, utilising over 20,000 metric tonnes of waste that is produced daily in the country.<\/div>\n
