1. It was simply wonderful to have 17 teenage school boys & girls – as the \u201cStudent Ambassadors\u201d from Hong Kong visiting some of the remote areas of Bangladesh.( Greater Shylhet )<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

2. \u2018Orbis\u2019 the Huge Plane( Flying Eye Hospital) first touched down Dhaka Airport in the year 1985. They set up an office in the 1999 in Dhaka. Orbis has now 14 partners covering all the 8 Divisions of Bangladesh. Orbis has made tremendous progress in combating avoidable blindness to half a million people a year in our country. Till now 3,75,000 patients have had access to the Eye Care Services ; 4000 had eye surgeries.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

3. The Boys and Girls were very Nice, Passionate and Kind hearted people. They had a real life time experience of meeting many of our people who are known for their hospitality and friendliness towards the foreigners.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

4. We felt honoured to have been assigned with such a special job , particularly when suddenly we were reported upon that there were some political clash taking place in the area. This warranted some extra efforts, we requested from the District Police, which came most spontaneously.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Note: We would like to Express our deep gratitude to the Honourable Head of the Mission of Orbis Bangladesh. The accompanying officers & staffs of Orbis were very helpful in the performance of our critical & sensitive duties. Indeed it was quite a daunting & challenging task.<\/div>\n
